Colorado stopped taking your word for who your registered agent is. Since July 1, 2025, an individual agent needs a current Colorado driver's license or state ID, and an agent company must be registered here and in good standing. Pick badly and your filing stalls.
Colorado will not hide your name. The Articles of Organization ask for the person forming the LLC, and for the individual who files it, by name and address. The state's own filing checklist calls that filer address public. What Colorado never asks is who owns the company. Members and managers stay off the record. So a commercial agent moves your home address off the agent line. It does not take your name off the filing.
